Neverspring Chronicles: Phoenix Down

I released Neverspring Chronicles on Steam a year ago and while people seemed to like it okay, I didn't like it okay. My writing and dev skills had evolved so much by the end of the project that by the time I put it up on Steam, I could see every little mistake and plot hole and it was driving me crazy. So I went back and started touching things up here, rewriting things there, and next thing I knew I had decided to throw the whole thing in the trash and start from scratch.

The entire game has been completely re-developed from scratch. Players that have played Neverspring Chronicles before will notice a totally new intro, all new database of items/monsters, and better written characters. I have really put my all into this project and I can finally say, I'm proud to share it with you all.

The new demo is available for download. I am nearing completion of this project but my ultimate regret is that I don't have the art skills to make some things look how I want. One really big thing to me is the battlers. I really, really want to hire a pixel artist to make some custom battlers in a cooler style than what I'm having to use right now. Hopefully, enough people will support this project on Steam Early Access that I can raise the funds to hire an artist.
