Notes

- Finally on track with the project's direction. Through testing, tinkering, and development there were practically 3 different games going on and it felt kind of jarring and clunky. So it has been boiled it down to a more solid gameplay loop. 

- The player must complete 4 classic dungeons to find all the pieces to their map and unlock access to the final dungeon. As of right now, there is only 1 dungeon type (classic dungeon). More dungeon types are nearing completion. There will soon be 4 types; classic dungeon, cave dungeon, sewer dungeon, and desert dungeon. The player will need to clear each of the 4 dungeon types for a map fragment in later updates instead of clearing 4 different classic dungeons.

- Potions, spell scrolls, and special skills are now active and integrated. There are a lot of them so there may be some bugs in using them but nothing game breaking. You may use a Scroll of Death Ray and it instead acts as a Scroll of Defense or something.

- Class selection has been disabled for the time being. Players will start as the Warrior, as they normally would anyway. The classes all seem to be working fine but an issue with the class selection scene itself suddenly popped up out of nowhere. Toying with the idea of scrapping class selection and instead moving class features to loot and items for more customization on the go.

- The portal scroll will summon a portal to return the player to the tavern. Right now it works all the time for testing purposes. As of next update, it will no longer work when the player has already picked up the dungeon's treasure. It's there for testing purposes at the moment so just know that if you grab a dungeons treasure and portal scroll out, you are technically cheating :)

- Dungeons are randomized but the floors you go down will be the same floors you come up to escape.

- Avoid buying Rope or ID Scrolls in the shop. ID Scrolls are being redesigned and will only use themselves up as soon as you buy them. Rope is also being redesigned and is currently counted not as Rope but as the Flying Dagger item instead. So if your character starts throwing little projectiles all the time for some reason, you may have picked up some Rope. If you find it during gameplay, just treat it as you found the Flying Dagger. If you buy Rope in the store to cheese the Flying Dagger, you are technically cheating :)

Still in Progress

- More dungeon types are coming. Right now there is the classic dungeon. Expect new monsters and biomes like old abandoned mines and ancient sewer waterways.

- Champions and Boss monsters are on the way.

- A few more items, scrolls, and potions to come. Many already in game now.

- The GUI like the buttons and stuff will be cleaned up soon.

- The stage complete score scene is still in rough draft form. When it tallies the scores at the end of a dungeon it still looks wonky. This will be cleaned up and finalized soon.

Known Issues

- It looks like the stutter and lag issues have been resolved for the most part but if this happened to you on your Android device, please don't hesitate to comment with your specs. It will help a lot towards locating the problem.

- One of the Six Android devices initially tested had no sound. If this happened to you on your Android device, please don't hesitate to comment with your specs.- OgreDungeon has not been tested on any Android tablets. It should work, but the resolution is intended for portrait mode on a cell phone so the UI might look stretched and odd. New resolutions will be added later.

- There are technically multiple game projects inside this project that all utilize the same engine and resources. If you accidentally happen upon a forgotten developer's portal and wind up in a strange land, you will need to turn the game off and back on. My apologies. I thought I got them all but one tester seems to have found at least one that I missed. Feel free to explore any strange worlds you find but there's no way back if you fall into any rifts.
